We are currently taking applicants for the following position: DRILL & BLAST SUPERVISOR Requirements: 1) Min. 5 years experiences in Drill & Blast, 2) Deep knowledge in Drill & Blast, 3) Good knowledge in Safety, 4) Good supervisory skill, 5) Having blaster certificate (2nd class blaster), 6) Willing to work extended hour due to project requirement. Responsibilities: 1) Supervising all drill and blast activities to ensure that pit planning and sequencing is accurate and targets are met. 2) Maintain and supervise drills and drill consumables. 3) Supervise the day to day activities of fellow employees and contractor personnel and effectively implement the Ground Control Management Plan to ensure risk assessment/ management practices are engaged for ground control hazards and undertake and document regular workplace inspections. 4) Actively involved in the development of Standard Work Procedures and a commitment to the training and supervision. 5) Assist the Senior Mining Engineer to minimize exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages. 6) Implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan. 7) Ensure attitudes, decisions and work practices of all Superintendent and Supervisory personnel meet or exceed the principles of the Project s Safety and Health Policy, Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and Safety Procedures.
