Our client is one of the largest equipment hire companies with over 120 years experience in industry, supplying to a wide variety of markets including Engineering and Building Construction & Maintenance, Mining & Resources, Manufacturing, Government, and Events, is seeking an experienced candidate for the following position : Operation & Asset Manager (Balikpapan-based) Position Description Develop, set and achieve maintenance budgets and operational action plans for the business unit in keeping with the business unit objectives and strategies Ensure maximum useful economic life of all equipments is achieved by detailed implementation of repair and maintenance plans Reducing administrative logistic downtime (ALDT) is reduced by efficient implementation of rotables and forward repair teams Monitor & evaluate regional results / performance and take corrective action where necessary so to ensure achievement of regional objectives Monitor & recommend to Branch & Sites Leaders ways of reducing daily maintenance and operations cost Maximize utilization of equipment & transport for area Maintain equipment availability within Indonesia Maintain appropriate mix, stock level & minimize zero hire of equipment over nominated business unit Minimize re-hire activities for business unit by implementing a defined and planned maintenance strategy Minimize unrecoverable transport for business unit via planned equipment rotations Ensure business unit’s process & prepare back charges to customers for all damage (except damage covered by waiver) Implement and manage all safety practices and system required by OHS regulation and Company policy Adopt a proactive approach to safety by consulting with the work force, promoting safe work practices, identifying and assessing workplace hazards and implementing appropriate control measures Ensure Company safety policies, procedures and practices are implemented and OHS legislative requirements are complied with Ensure team receive OHS training that allows them to perform their jobs safely Report work place issues and incidents in a timely manner and in accordance with Company procedures Coach & monitor customer service deliverables to defined standards set out in Company manuals Coach & monitor Branch Managers to ensure the technical and safety applications of Company product continually exceed customer expectations Contribute to the profitable growth of the Company by communicating knowledge of local business opportunities to Sales & Marketing Manager and SMT Encourage employees to display a relentless customer, workshop and safety focus Report to PD weekly on progress towards meeting SMT strategy Follow up and report back to SMT Managers on specific issues assigned to your area Implement strategy directions & systems as set out by the SMT Ensure accurate reporting and service requirements are met Provide external representation to the marketplace and industry and maintain industry networks to ensure an up to date knowledge of relevant developments and business trends within the area If you are the one who meets those requirements, kindly send your comprehensive resume in Microsoft word format not later than 2 weeks after this posting to : edwin-marta@jda-indonesia.co.id.
