An excellent opportunity for a senior oil and gas professional within an independent oil and gas company. The position will be situated in Jakarta and the operations are based in Sumatra, Indonesia. Vacancy Deputy Director of Operations Summary: Provide leadership to field/block development and operations. The chosen candidate will be in charge of all matters related to Subsurface, Engineering, Operations & HSE under the guidance of the Upstream President. You will protect the interests and rights to the operated blocks and fields whilst overseeing the Company's Indonesian E&P assets to achieve business objectives and schedule completion, efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership to grow and enhance the organisational capabilities as well as capacity to execute the strategies to achieve the business objectives • Lead, drive and manage all key E&P activities and initiatives, including: - Coordinating subsurface activities on GG&R studies, drilling campaign, workover & well reentry and intervention - Surface activities on field management (development, production and maintenance) - Process & facility engineering - HSE, QA/QC & security matters • Spearhead full field review and further development plan • Coordinate and submit surveillance reports on field/block activities & planning to Pertamina and/or BPMigas • Establish and enhance strong relationship with all levels of government officials Key Requirements: • A well rounded surface or subsurface expertise with a multi-disciplinary background as well as extensive managerial and technical experience • Bachelor degree or higher in geology, geophysics, or engineering • Minimum 20 years of work experience with an operator, preferably with 5 years as an asset manager or higher • Strong experience in managing E&P assets and personnel • Effective motivational leader who is results orientated, meticulous, resourceful, performance driven and customer focused • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills with key government officials • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia To apply please send your CV to wparrott@leap29.com |
